JENNA STOTTSPresident /
Retreat Facilitator (Literary) Jenna believes in the power of storytelling as a way of connecting people to one another. She has been writing personal stories from the age of twelve and has previous leadership experience with a program for teenage girls. She hopes SPEAK* retreats for any age group gives participants a sense of self-value, new outlets for personal expression, and understanding of others’ points of view. She believes in the mission and values of SPEAK* fiercely and is committed to guiding others to live with those values as well. |
RHONDA ELDRIDGEExecutive Director /
Producer Rhonda believes that social change can and does happen person by person. She changes the corporate culture by living NVC in her workplace and in her cohousing community. In her world, social change is a pebble dropped in a pond. We can see where we make a change but after a while not where those changes ripple out. Rhonda is a Certified NVC Trainer, providing intros and other day long workshops. |
ERIN VILLARONGATreasurer/Retreat Facilitator
Erin believes that compassion is the most important ingredient in creating trust-based communities; communities like SPEAK* have helped her become more comfortable with sharing her voice as a young woman in a very loud world. Erin serves as Treasurer on the SPEAK* Board of Directors (don’t worry, she has a Financial Literacy Certification) and as a junior facilitator during the flagship summer program, SPEAK*Girls. She is also currently a student at Wellesley College, pursuing a degree in Peace & Justice Studies with an Astronomy minor. |
BROOKE VIEGUTSecretary /
Retreat Facilitator (Movement) Brooke believes that self knowledge and growth can be best achieved through interdisciplinary arts. A dancer since the age of three, Brooke swears that performative arts have saved her life. Being able to work with people of all ages through SPEAK* and share the values of self-actualization through art is an incredible gift. With a love for telling stories, she works with all types of people daily and hopes to give people through SPEAK* what movement and theater give her; strength, purpose, empathy, art, and kindness. |
